Ghana Norway Music and Culture Festival connects Ghana and Norway on an artistic, cultural and spiritual level. It is a culture celebration that blends together modern Norwegian and Ghanaian artists of Reggae, Dancehall, Hiphop, Afrobeats, Azonto, Amapiano or Hiplife with traditional music alongside drumming, singing and dancing. There are fantastic live performances and DJs presenting the mix of both. It lets to experience the rich heritage through sounds, colourful visuals, tastes and activities. Vendors will provide food, drinks, also artworks like jewellery and paintings. It puts a lot of emphasis on children and youth giving them creative expression, they are performing and learning during drumming and dancing workshops, taking part in dancing and eating competitions. It will be a learning event, but equally exciting and enjoyable. Free of charge and everyone is welcome.

Om Slipp Botsen Fri prosjektet

Hver lørdag og søndag i perioden 25. mai – 14. september kl. 13 (gratis).

Endelig er Lille Botsen tilbake! Hver lørdag og søndag kl. 13 presenterer vi musikk, teater, sirkus og annen gratis underholdning for barn og unge i Botsparken tett på fengselsmuren, midt på Grønland. Vi startet dette utendørskonseptet under korona med stor suksess og har siden gjennomført arrangementer for barn og unge hver vår-og sommersesong.

Vi ønsker å ta i bruk det gamle fengselet Botsen og skape et kulturhus, en kulturmuskel på Grønland. Botsen har et unikt potensiale med sin store bygningsmasse, parkanlegg og mur.

Lille Botsen er et samarbeid mellom Nordic Black Theatre og Slipp Botsen Fri.
Lille Botsen sitt sommerprogram er Støttet av Områdesatsingene i Oslo – Bomiljøtilskudd, Oslo indre østsatsingen 2025, Oslo Kommune Bylivstilskudd 2025 og Sparebankstiftelsen DNB.
