Slipp Botsen Fri-prosjektet er snart tilbake!
Hver lørdag og søndag kl. 13 i perioden 31. mai–20. september inviterer vi til gratis forestillinger for barn og unge i Botsparken – tett på fengselsmuren, midt på Grønland.

Endelig er Lille Botsen tilbake med et variert sommerprogram fylt med musikk, teater, sirkus og annen underholdning for hele familien. Utendørskonseptet startet under koronaperioden og ble raskt en stor suksess. Siden den gang har vi arrangert gratis kulturaktiviteter for barn og unge hver vår- og sommersesong.

Gjennom prosjektet ønsker vi å gi nytt liv til det gamle Botsfengselet og utvikle området til et levende kulturhus og en viktig kulturarena på Grønland. Med sin unike bygningsmasse, park og historiske mur har Botsen et stort potensial som møteplass for kunst, kultur og fellesskap.

Lille Botsen er et samarbeid mellom Nordic Black Theatre og Slipp Botsen Fri.

Sommerprogrammet støttes av Områdesatsingene i Oslo – Bomiljøtilskudd, Oslo indre østsatsingen 2025, Oslo kommune Bylivstilskudd 2025 og Sparebankstiftelsen DNB.

The Slipp Botsen Fri project is returning soon!
Every Saturday and Sunday at 1 PM from May 31 to September 20 (free admission).

Lille Botsen is finally back! Every weekend at 1 PM, we present free performances and activities for children and young people in Botsparken, right beside the historic prison walls in the heart of Grønland. The program includes music, theatre, circus, and other cultural experiences for the whole family.

We launched this outdoor concept during the pandemic, where it quickly became a great success. Since then, we have continued organizing cultural events for children and youth every spring and summer season.

Our vision is to bring new life to the old Botsen prison and transform it into a vibrant cultural house and creative hub for Grønland. With its unique buildings, park area, and iconic walls, Botsen holds enormous potential as a space for art, culture, and community.

Lille Botsen is a collaboration between Nordic Black Theatre and Slipp Botsen Fri.

This year’s summer program is supported by Områdesatsingene i Oslo – Bomiljøtilskudd, Oslo indre østsatsingen 2025, Oslo Kommune Bylivstilskudd 2025, and Sparebankstiftelsen DNB.
